Teressa Byrne, soprano, makes her West Bay Opera
debut singing the role of Fiordiligi in Così fan
tutte.
In 2007, Ms. Byrne played Lilli Vanessi (Kiss
Me Kate) with Cabrillo Stage, and Christine
Daaé (Yeston, Phantom) with Fullerton
Civic Light Opera and Theatrical Arts International.
Theatre roles include Eliza Doolittle (My Fair
Lady), Fiona MacLaren (Brigadoon),
and Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls) with PCPA
Theatrefest, Sister Sophia (The Sound of Music)
at the Hollywood Bowl, and Sharon Graham (Master
Class) with Berkeley Rep, Ensemble Theatre Santa
Barbara, Odyssey Theatre, and Fountain Theatre. She
toured with the Ensemble di Teatro Massimo in Central
California and performed with Krassimir at Hollywood’s
Kodak Theatre. She has sung Oscar (Un ballo in
maschera), Laura (La gioconda), and
the Countess (cover) (Andrea Chenier) with
Casa Italiana Opera.
Ms. Byrne has performed in independent film, television,
and commercials, and can be heard on the soundtrack
of the upcoming video game “Fury.” She
holds a BA in Theatre Arts from UCLA, and is a member
of Actors Equity and Screen Actors Guild. |
