Sascha Joggerst, baritone, sings the role of Guglielmo
in Così fan
tutte, following his West Bay Opera debut
as Silvio in Pagliacci.
Mr. Joggerst was recently seen as Guglielmo with BASOTI
following his debut in San Francisco as Count Almaviva
(Le nozze di Figaro). With Royal Academy Opera,
London, he sang the role of Amantio (Gianni Schicchi)
under the baton of Steuart Bedford, and the roles of
Captain and Zaretsky (Eugene Onegin) with
Opera by Definition. He has also sung the title role
in Eugene Onegin and one of the travellers
in Britten’s Curlew River with the Conservatory
of Music, Lübeck. On the concert stage, he is
a dedicated lieder singer, most recently in London
with recitals of Schumann’s Dichterliebe and
Beethoven’s An die ferne Geliebte.
A native of Stuttgart, Germany, Mr. Joggerst holds
a Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal Performance from The
Royal Academy of Music in London and a Bachelor of
Music from the Conservatory of Music, Lübeck. |
