Act I: Street Outside Dr. Bartolo’s House

Figaro

Flanked by the Zanni (Emma Davis, Maggie McKenna, Elaine Beckett) Figaro (Jordan Shanahan) explains that he is Seville’s Master of All Trades: barber, wig-maker, surgeon, gardener, herbalist, veterinarian…

(What are Zanni?)

Serenade Count Almaviva (John Zuckerman) explains to Rosina (Sonia Gariaeff) in a serenade that he is a poor student named Lindoro who adores her though he cannot give her worldly treasure.
Thinking Almaviva (John Zuckerman) promises Figaro (Jordan Shanahan) a fat purse if he can produce a brilliant idea from his volcanic brain that will get Almaviva into Rosina’s house.
Directions Figaro (Jordan Shanahan) gives Almaviva (John Zuckerman) directions to his shop, “Number 15, on the left, four steps, white in front, five wigs in the window…”

Act II: Dr. Bartolo’s Study

Letter Rosina (Sonia Gariaeff) decides that Lindoro shall be hers, and writes him a note.
Rosina & Figaro Figaro (Jordan Shanahan) promises Rosina (Robin De Leon) that Lindoro will arrive as soon as he delivers her note.
Lies Rosina (Robin De Leon) desperately tries to come up with an excuse that will convince her guardian Dr. Bartolo (Michael Morris) that she did not sharpen the quill to write a love note.
La calunnia Aided by the Zanni (Maggie McKenna, Emma Davis, Elaine Beckett), Don Basilio (John Minagro) demonstrates to Dr. Bartolo (Michael Morris) the power of slander to penetrate insidiously into the brain, bewildering and confusing the mind.
cockroaches Don Basilio (John Minagro) shows Dr. Bartolo (Michael Morris) that with efficient use of gossip and slander, Count Almaviva could be humiliated and crushed under the public scourge, until he must slink away to die.
Sword Almaviva (John Zuckerman), disguised as a drunken soldier in order to see Rosina (Robin De Leon) insists that Dr. Bartolo (Michael Morris) honor his billeting order.
Handkerchief Dr. Bartolo (Michael Morris) watches suspiciously as Almaviva in disguise (John Zuckerman) offers him Rosina’s handkerchief while giving Rosina (Sonia Gariaeff) the note it was concealing.
Quintet Dr. Bartolo (Michael Morris), Berta (Constance Howard), Rosina (Sonia Gariaeff), Almaviva (John Zuckerman), and Don Basilio (John Minagro) are horrified to hear the knock of the police at the door.
La Forza Dr. Bartolo (Michael Morris) tries to convince the Police Sergeant (Hamid Najafi) to arrest the drunken soldier (John Zuckerman) who tries to get a last word with Rosina (Sonia Gariaeff). Figaro is just a blur as he rushes down the stairs to try and save the situation.
Frozen Almaviva secretly reveals his true identity to the Police Sergeant who then salutes the drunken soldier rather than arresting him. Don Basilio (John Minagro), Dr. Bartolo (Michael Morris), Berta (Constance Howard), and Rosina (Robin De Leon) are frozen stiff like statues in shock.

Act III: The Music Room

Lesson

Disguised as Don Alonso, a pupil of Don Basilio, Almaviva (John Zuckerman) gives Rosina (Sonia Gariaeff) her singing lesson as Dr. Bartolo (Michael Morris) chaperones.

Don Basilio All goes well until Don Basilio (John Minagro) arrives unexpectedly. Almaviva (John Zuckerman) tries to get rid of him as Figaro (Jordan Shanahan), Rosina (Sonia Gariaeff), and Dr. Bartolo (Michael Morris) observe.
Scarletina The quick-thinking Figaro (Jordan Shanahan) declares that Don Basilio (John Minagro) should not be walking around with scarlet fever as Almaviva (John Zuckerman), Rosina (Robin De Leon), and Dr. Bartolo (Michael Morris) recoil in horror.
Plotting Almaviva (John Zuckerman) and Figaro (Jordan Shanahan) assure Rosina (Robin De Leon) that they will arrive at midnight to carry her away.
Dispair Throwing her arms in the air in dispair, Berta (Constance Howard) bemoans the fact that she is a desperate old sponster doomed to die alone without love.
Agree Using the letter Almaviva used to gain entry to the house, Dr. Bartolo (Michael Morris) convinces Rosina (Robin De Leon) that Don Alonso and Figaro are plotting against her. She agrees to marry Dr. Bartolo that very night.
Proposal When Rosina (Robin De Leon) admits she still loves Lindoro, he reveals himself as Count Almaviva (John Zuckerman) and renews his proposal that she become his wife.
Notary Figaro (Jordan Shanahan) and Don Basilio (John Minagro) witness the marriage contract provided by the Notary (Jorge Mezei) as Rosina (Sonia Gariaeff) and Count Almaviva (John Zuckerman) bask in happiness.
inevitable Arriving too late with the police, Dr. Bartolo (Michael Morris) accepts the inevitable and gives his blessing to the marriage of Count Almaviva (John Zuckerman) and Rosina (Robin De Leon) as Figaro (Jordan Shanahan) enjoys the happy results of his scheming and Berta (Constance Howard) watches.
