Rick Rubenstein
Though new to opera, Rick is no stranger to the stage. For over ten years, he made his living as half of Clockwork, an award-winning comedy and juggling duo. Beginning in 1989 with a summer gig at an amusment park in Ohio, his juggling career took him around the world to far-flung locales such as Tokyo, Berlin, and Tahiti. Since his “official” retirement in 2000 to the more sedate life of a software engineer, he has continued to appear at regional juggling festivals around the country, performing in shows and teaching workshops on juggling, comedy, and performance technique.
