MaryAnne Stanislaw, mezzo-soprano, makes her West Bay Opera debut singing the role of Mamma Lucia in Cavalleria rusticana.

Ms. Stanislaw’s recent opera performances include Rebecca Nurse (The Crucible), Annina (La traviata), and Gertrude (Romeo et Juliette) at Opera San José, Gertrude (Hansel and Gretel) at Bayshore Lyric Opera, Mistress of the Novices (Suor Angelica) at Berkeley Opera, Erda (Das Rheingold in Condensed Ring) and Mamma Lucia (Cavalleria rusticana) with Townsend Opera Players.

Ms. Stanislaw’s concert repertoire includes Handel’s Messiah, and she has been a featured soloist with Opera Bravura, Golden Gate Opera, Martinez Opera, and Townsend Opera. Born in Hong Kong to American parents, she was educated in England, Germany, and Switzerland.
