Lucinda Surber

Lucinda Surber operates the sound board for Carmen. Her first volunteer job for West Bay Opera was running the ghost words for the 1998 production of The Turn of the Screw. She began working with the sound crew during The Italian Girl in Algiers, and has run the sound board ever since.

In 2001, Lucinda began taking performance pictures and helping with the West Bay Opera website: Tartuffe, Les contes d’Hoffmann, Faust, The Marriage of Figaro, La bohème, Tosca, Un ballo in maschera, La Périchole, Viva la Mamma, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Don Giovanni, La clemenza di Tito, Lucia di Lammermoor, The Threepenny Opera, The Magic Flute, Manon Lescaut, The Rake’s Progress, Macbeth, The Merry Widow, Pagliacci, Cavalleria rusticana, Così fan tutte, Der fliegende Holländer, She loves her two jobs which allow her to listen to the music and watch the show!

When she is not volunteering at West Bay Opera, Lucinda works on various websites: The Crew View, Stop, You’re Killing Me!, Bookworm for Kids, Randall Davey Audubon Center, Barron Park Elementary School, K-6 Science, Partnership for Student Success in Science.
