Elizabeth Amisano
Elizabeth Amisano makes her West Bay Opera debut singing the role of a grisette in The Merry Widow.
Ms. Amisano performed the role of Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), Riccardo Albenori (Alessandro Scarlatti, Il trionfo dell’onore), and Miss Wordsworth (Albert Herring). She has sung the soprano solo in Handel's Messiah at Davies Symphony Hall. At the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, she appeared as Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) and as the soprano soloist in Carmina Burana. She has also sung the role of Musetta (La bohème) at the Villa Montalvo Summer Music Festival.
A New York native, Ms. Amisano received her BFA in Opera Performance at Purchase College. She continued her operatic studies at the University of Urbino, Italy, and earned her MA degree in Opera Performance at the San Francisco of Conservatory of Music in 2003.
