Heather Antonissen
Heather
Antonissen, soprano, makes her West Bay Opera debut singing the role of
Second Lady in The
Magic Flute.
Ms. Antonissen has sung extensively in mainstage opera, oratorio, and recital productions. She has appeared with the San Francisco Music Center as Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), North Bay Opera as Giulietta (Les contes d’Hoffmann), San Francisco Lyric Opera as the Mother (Amahl and the Night Visitors), Bay Shore Lyric Opera as Tisbe (La Cenerentola) and the Mother (Hansel and Gretel), Opera California as Carmen and as Lola (Cavalleria Rusticana), and Livermore Opera as the Mother (Hansel and Gretel).
Ms. Antonissen has also performed with Opera San José, Masterworks Chorale, San Francisco Performer’s Showcase, and the San Francisco Chorale Society. Competition honors include regional finalist in the Pacific Region Metropolitan Opera Competition as well as a winner in the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition. She has also participated in the Chautauqua Opera Young Artist Program and the Jarvis Zarzuela Program. Upcoming performances include the Countess (Le nozze di Figaro) with the San Francisco Music Center.
