Daniel Armistead
Mr. Armistead received his Masters in Voice and Opera from USC, where he sang
leading roles in Janácek's Jenufa, Mozart's Abduction from the
Seraglio and Così fan tutte, Sullivan's Yeomen of the
Guard, and many others. He appeared with Stanford Opera Theatre
as Gonzalve in Ravel's L'heure espagnole and
Valère in Kirke Mechem's Tartuffe.
He has also appeared with Scholar Opera, Stanford Savoyards,
and has enjoyed singing with the chorus of West Bay Opera for
many years. His roles with West Bay Opera include Gherardo in
Gianni Scicchi, Giuseppe in La traviata,
Ruiz in Il trovatore, and Borsa in Rigoletto.
