Buffy Baggott
Ms. Baggott's recent roles include Beatrice in Berlioz' Betarice and
Benedict and Turn-Spit in Dvorák's Rusalka with Berkeley
Opera as well as the Mother in Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors
with Oakland Lyric Opera. In addition to concertizing in the Bay Area,
Ms. Baggott apprenticed with the Santa Fé' Opera as Nancy in Albert
Herring, Idamante in Idomeneo, and as Resi in Intermezzo
in 1994. Her other roles include the Prince in The Happy Prince,
Paquette in Candide, and the Evil Stepmother in Cinderella.
Ms. Baggott made her debut with West Bay Opera this Fall in the dual roles of
La Principessa in Suor Angelica and Zita in Gianni Schicchi.
