William Berges
William Berges began his musical education in the San Francisco Boys' Chorus,
continuing at the Vienna Conservatory and the Britten-Pears School in
Aldeburgh, England. Bat Area audiences have enjoyed Mr. Berges in concert
and recital, and his operatic credits include Figaro in Mozart's
Le Nozze di Figaro, Dandini in Rossini's La Cenerentola,
Belcore in Donizetti's L'Elisir d'Amore, and Papageno in Mozart's
Die Zauberflöte. Berges' Verdi roles include Ford at the
Britten-Verdi Festival in Aldeburgh, and Germont in Berkeley Opera's
La Traviata.
