Lara Bolton
Lara Bolton joined West Bay Opera as an accompanist in 2006. Now working as a freelance coach and pianist, the Ohio native recently completed her second season in San Francisco Opera’s Merola program as an apprentice coach. In May, she was the rehearsal pianist for Otello at Fresno Grand Opera. She was the Music Director of the San Diego Opera Ensemble, and was a coach and pianist in the Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program at the Washington National Opera. She has participated in the Music Academy of the West and was on the music staff at the Brevard Music Festival and Interlochen Arts Camp, where she also received her high school diploma.
Ms. Bolton holds a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from the University of Maryland and received a Bachelor’s degree in Music Theory from the University of Michigan.
