Joshua Camp
Joshua Camp, baritone, makes his West Bay Opera debut singing the role of Vicomte Cascada in The Merry Widow. A native of the Bay Area, Mr. Camp has performed with many different companies between Livermore and Santa Cruz. He recently made his debut with Alameda Civic Light Opera, singing the roles of Pontius Pilate (Jesus Christ Superstar) and Zoser (Aida). He also appeared as Maestro Spinelloccio (Gianni Schicchi) with Golden Gate Opera. He has been an active member of Opera San José for the past six seasons, appearing most recently as the Sergeant (La bohème). He has also understudied multiple roles at Opera San José, including Count De Horn (Un ballo in maschera), Francais Nurse (The Crucible), and Antonio(Le nozze di Figaro). Other Bay Area companies Mr. Camp has performed with include Ohlone College, Las Positas College, UCSC Opera Theatre, Livermore Valley Opera, The Kings Players, and Broadway by the Bay. He currently resides in Sunnyvale and works full time in theater.
