Alison Collins
Ms. Collins has appeared as Papagena (Die Zauberflöte) with Opera San José, as Marie (Daughter of the Regiment), Rosina (The Barber of Seville), and Musetta (La bohème) with Townsend Opera Players, as Galatea (Suppé, My Fair Galatea) with Intermountain Opera Chamber Ensemble, as Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi) with Music Academy of the West, and as Adele (Die Fledermaus) with Stockton Opera Association. Ms. Collins appeared as Papagena, and the broom child (Humperdinck, Königskinder) with Sarasota Opera. With American Opera Projects (New York City), she sang world premieres as Alma Mahler (Vivian Fine, Memoirs of Uliana Rooney) and the Sugar Plum Fairy (Rusty McGee, Flurry Tale). She was an apprentice artist with Des Moines Metro Opera, Virginia Opera, Portland Opera Repertory Theatre, and Sarasota Opera, where she was awarded the Richard F. Gold career grant.
