Desirée Earl

Line

DesireeDesirée Earl, soprano, makes her West Bay Opera debut singing the role of Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute.

Ms. Earl began her career as an apprentice with Portland Opera in Oregon. This season she performed with Stockton Opera and Pocket Opera as Queen of the Night, a role she has also performed with Opera San José. She has sung the roles of Despina (Così fan tutte) with Mission City Opera, Blonde (Abduction from the Seraglio) with Pocket Opera, Cunegonde (Candide) with Arena Stage in Washington, D.C., Pamina (The Magic Flute) with Opera Nova, and Abigail (The Crucible) with Opera in the Ozarks. She will be performing the role of Mabel in Lamplighters’ The Pirates of Penzance this winter.

Named a world finalist in the Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition and a regional finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, Ms. Earl has also been a featured performer in Europe, South America, and Australia aboard Cunard’s Vistafjord and Royal Viking Sun.
