Kirk Eichelberger
Mr. Eichelberger has been heard at Opera San José in numerous leading roles, including Leporello (Don Giovanni), Daland (The Flying Dutchman), Reverend John Hale (Ward, The Crucible), Méphistophélès (Faust), Count des Grieux and Monsieur de Brétigny (Manon), Ferrando (Il trovatore), Don Magnifico (La Cenerentola), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), and Sarastro (The Magic Flute). He has appeared as Sparafucile (Rigoletto) with Festival Opera, Sarastro with Virginia Opera, the King (Portman, The Little Prince) with Skylight Opera Theatre in Milwaukee, and in the title role in The Marriage of Figaro with Opera Memphis. Among his many concert credits is the title role in Elijah with the Oakland East Bay Symphony. Upcoming performances in northern California include Leporello with Festival Opera, John Bunyan and Lord Hategood (Vaughan Williams, The Pilgrim’s Progress) with Trinity Lyric Opera in Walnut Creek, and Friar Lawrence (Romeo and Juliet) and Don Basilio (The Barber of Seville) with Opera San José.
