Dawn Jensen Farry

Dawn Jensen Farry made her operatic debut with Seattle Opera in The Marriage of Figaro and returned to the prestigious company in Rusalka as a Wood Nymph and to understudy the role of Wellgunde in the Ring Cycle. She received her Master of Music degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and has performed extensively throughout the Bay Area and West Coast. She has recently entered into soprano repertoire and will debut in her new voice category as the star of Puccini's Tosca with West Bay Opera. Ms. Farry has been seen as Rosina in The Barber of Seville with both Festival and North Bay Operas. Her Carmen has been seen throughout the West Coast, as well as performances of Orlofsky, Nicklausse, Natasha in War and Peace, Ljubasha in The Tsar's Bride, and Nancy in Martha with such companies as West Bay Opera, Berkeley Opera, North Bay Opera, and Pacific Repertory Opera. She has been heard in numerous Messiah presentations, including a Davies Symphony Hall performance, Haydn's Creation, Beethoven's Mass in C, and with Opus 90, and more. Dawn has received many glowing reviews of her performances and has been given several awards for her talents, including the prestigious UNGARO Diva Award. A native of the Napa Valley, Ms. Farry conducts a private music studio.
