Elizabeth Finkler
Elizabeth Finkler, mezzo-soprano, makes her West Bay Opera debut singing the role of Praskowia in The Merry Widow.
Ms. Finkler’s opera appearances include the Old Lady (Candide) at Goat Hall Productions and Monterey Opera Association, the premiere of Mark Alburger’s The Bald Soprano at Goat Hall, and Rigoletto, Madama Butterfly, Hansel und Gretel, and Die Fledermaus with Bay Shore Lyric Opera. She has sung in the chorus at Opera San José, Lyric Theatre, and Pocket Opera, and appeared in Man of La Mancha with Easy Street Theater, One Touch of Venus and Lady in the Dark at San Francisco City College, Aspects of Love with Palo Alto Players, Funny Girl with Broadway by the Bay, and My Fair Lady with Saratoga Drama Group.
Ms. Finkler has appeared as a dramatic actress in Dragon Productions’ The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Santa Clara Players’ The Hound of the Baskervilles and The Little Theater’s Production of Hamlet, and Easy Street Theater’s The Haunting of Hill House. She recently made her film debut in a student production at UC Santa Cruz.
