Steve Grabe, tenor, sings the role of Kromow in The
Merry Widow, following
his West Bay Opera debut as First Priest
and First Guard in The
Magic Flute.
Mr. Grabe has performed the roles of Canio
(Pagliacci), Radames (Aïda),
Roldolfo (La bohème), Don Jose (Carmen), Macduff (Macbeth),
Alfredo ( La traviata), Luigi (Il tabarro), and Bacchus (Ariadne
auf Naxos). He has performed with Nevada State Opera, Long Beach Opera,
Repertory Opera, Casa Italiana, and Intimate Opera. He has also appeared as Roscoe
(Sondheim, Follies) at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. Earlier this year,
he performed the Vaughan Williams Songs of Travel at the Pasadena Presbyterian
Church’s Music at Noon series.
Mr. Grabe is a graduate of Chapman University and resides in the
Los Angeles area. He appeared on television in Barclays Classic Golf
Tournament “Opera Golf” commercial. |
