West Bay Opera
Charles L. Jordan
Mr. Jordan first performed with West Bay Opera as Malcolm in Macbeth
in 1970. He recently appeared as Mr. Bumble in Oliver with This Side
of the Hill Players and as Mr. Goldbury in Utopia, Limited with the
Stanford Savoyards, as well as Simone in Gianni Schicchi, Zuniga in
Carmen, and Baron Douphol in La Traviata with West Bay Opera.
He sang the title role in Henry Mollicone's Emperor Norton with
West Bay Opera, where he also appeared as Frank in Die Fledermaus,
Pistol in Falstaff, Antonio in The Marriage of Figaro,
Geronio in The Turk in Italy, and Carnero and Ottokar in The
Gypsy Baron. Mr. Jordan has sung many other roles with various groups
in the Bay Area including reenactments of the life and times of General
Vallejo seen through the musical eyes of the general's
great-great-granddaughter, Martha McGettigan.
