Rafal Klopotowski
Rafal Klopotowski, a native of Poland residing in Los Angeles, is very
proud to be working with West Bay Opera. Before moving to Southern
California, he worked in the Bay Area's small and large theaters for
almost 12 years. His latest work took him back and forth across the
Atlantic to work in the Netherlands, Los Angeles, Poland, Berkeley,
and Palo Alto. His dramatic theater credits include Ibsen's
Peer Gynt, García Lorca's Blood Wedding,
Schnitzler's Le Ronde, and Tadeusz Rozewicz's Biale malzenstwo
(White Wedding). He also directed Fiddler on the Roof,
Here's Love, MIracle on 34th Street, and
The Threepenny Opera. He began directing opera in 1992 and has
staged Don Pasquale, Il matrimonio segreto,
Die Entführung aus dem Serail, and Don Giovanni.
