Alicia von Kugelgen
Alicia von Kugelgen is pleased to return to West Bay Opera
fresh on the heels of her debut as Despina in Così fan tutte.
Other Bay Area productions include: Princess Zara in Gilbert and Sullivan's
Utopia, Limited and Yum-Yum in The Mikado with the Lamplighters;
Olga in The Merry Widow and
Parthenis in La belle Hélène with
Donald Pippin's Pocket Opera; and Laurey in Oklahoma with
Diablo Light Opera Company.
She can also be heard
on the soon-to-be-released recording of Corpus Evita, a new opera
to be performed with the San Francisco Camerata Americana
under the baton of Maestro Jose Luis Moscovich.
Alicia received her Master's degree in Opera Performance from the University
of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory.
