Joshua
La Force

Joshua La Force, tenor, sings the role of Guglielmo Antolstoinolonoff in Viva
la mamma.
A Bay Area native, Mr. La Force has recently appeared in his
favorite Gilbert and Sullivan roles in San Francisco and Walnut Creek
with the Lamplighters’ productions of The Mikado (Nanki-Poo), H.M.S.
Pinafore (Ralph) and The Pirates of Penzance (Frederic).
His operatic credits include Ernesto (Don Pasquale) with Fremont
Mission Opera, and Triquet (Eugene Onegin), Dr. Cajus (Falstaff),
Guillot (Manon), Ernesto (Don Pasquale), and Don Ramiro
(La
Cenerentola)
with Opera San José.
Equally at home on the concert stage, Mr. La Force has appeared as a soloist
with the Sacramento Philharmonic, the San José Wind Symphony, and
with the Andrea Fulton Chorale in Yosemite as a guest singer and narrator.
He has also appeared on a coast-to-coast tour with
Savoy Express, a Gilbert and Sullivan highlights potpourri, with
Berkeley Opera,
and
in an American
Operetta Concert series with the Lamplighters in San Francisco.
