Jennifer Lien
Jennifer Lien, soprano, makes her West Bay Opera debut singing the role of
Pamina in The
Magic Flute.
Most recently seen as Despina (Così fan tutte) with the West Marin Music Festival, her other roles include Second Lay-Sister (Suor Angelica) with Berkeley Opera, Silberklang (The Impresario) with Solo Opera, Micaëla and Frasquita (Carmen) and Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) with Central Florida Lyric Opera, and Annina (La traviata) with San Francisco Lyric Opera. In February 2005, Ms. Lien also covered the role of Violetta (La traviata) with Mission City Opera.
Ms. Lien began her vocal studies at Dartmouth College and received her professional start with the Singapore Lyric Opera, where she performed the roles of Papagena (The Magic Flute) and Princess Stephanie (The Student Prince). She will complete her Master of Arts in vocal performance at San José State University this spring.
