Richard Liszt
Richard Liszt began his professional operatic career by singing the role
of Rodolfo in La Bohème for North Bay Opera, Fairfield.
He has performed with Sacramento Opera as Rodrigo in Verdi's Otello,
with Berkeley Opera as Fritz in L'Amico Fritz, as Cavaradossi for
Rogue Valley Opera in Ashland, Oregon and North Bay Opera, as Pinkerton
for Festival Opera Walnut Creek, and as Don José in Carmen
for North Bay Opera. He has also performed with the Sacramento, Lodi,
Tulare, Auburn, and Redding Symphonies in concert, operatic excerpts,
and oratorios. The future for Mr. Liszt holds concerts with the Wagner
Society of San Francisco and also with his signing a contract to perform
for the Opera House in Augsburg, Germany, to begin in September of 1977.
