Leland Morine

This will be Leland Morine's eleventh production with West Bay Opera. His past roles include Scarpia in Tosca, the title roles in Falstaff and Gianni Schicchi, Germont in La Traviata, Malatesta in Don Pasquale, Dr. Bartolo in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Dandini in La Cenerentola, Tonio in Pagliacci, and Schaunard in La Bohème. He has perfomed in The Gondoliers as Don Alhambra, as King Paramount in Utopia, Limited, as Pooh Bah in The Mikado, as Private Willis in Iolanthe, and as Arac in Princess Ida with the Lamplighters; and as Vacek and Cloudy in The Excursions of Mr. Broucek with the Berkeley Symphony. In New York he appeared in Attila as Ezio, in Un Ballo in Maschera as Renato, in Die Zauberflöte as Tamino, and in La Traviata as Germont. He has performed with Opera Viva, Henry Street Settlement Opera, Amato Opera Theatre, and Regina Opera. Mr. Morine currently sings opera and standards at Nicolino's Garden Restaurant in Santa Clara.
