Heidi Moss
Since moving to San Francisco, she has performed numerous roles with local companies, including Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) with Pocket Opera and Zerlina (Don Giovanni) with San Francisco Lyric Opera. Currently, she is performing as Adina with Livermore Valley Opera. She also joined the San Francisco Opera Center family by participating in their outreach productions and holiday concerts. Career highlights include the role of Susanna under the baton of Metropolitan Opera conductor Kevin Murphy, and Oscar (Un ballo in maschera) with Opera Memphis. From 1998 to 2000, she was a resident young artist at Dicapo Opera (New York), where she performed numerous roles such as Nella (Gianni Schicchi), Nannetta (Falstaff), and Clorinda (La Cenerentola). Ms. Moss has also garnered recognition in major vocal competitions, including the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions (NY District winner), the Liederkranz Competition (winner), and the MacAllister Awards (semifinalist). Her love for concert repertoire has precipitated several song recitals, including the Trinity Recital Series in New York City. In addition to an active musical life, Ms. Moss was a successful scientist and spent years working as a researcher, most recently at Rockefeller University.
