Leon Wiebers
Leon E. Wiebers (Costume Designer) trained at UCLA under the tutelage of
Dunya Ramicova. His design credits include Gianni Schicchi (Meany
Theatre, Seattle), Smells and Bells (Edinburgh and Glasgow),
Catholica (New York, Los Angeles) and
Camille (Alice B. Theatre, Seattle).
He recreated Nixon in China at the English National Opera for
Ms. Ramicova and has assisted on Iphigénie en Tauride and
La clemenza di Tito at the New York City Opera, and Stravinsky's
The Story of a Soldire for the Los Angeles Philharmonic under the
direction of Peter Sellars.
Future projects include Antigone for Portland Center Stage and his
own production of Lulu.
