Directions to Lucie Stern Community Theatre
1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto
The theatre is part of the Community Center located at the corner of Middlefield Road and Melville Street, two blocks north of Embarcadero Road. There is a parking lot off of Middlefield adjacent to the theatre, and unrestricted on-street parking in the neighborhood.From 101: Take the Embarcadero/Oregon Expressway exit. Follow signs to Embarcadero Road West. Turn right at Middlefield Road, the fourth traffic signal. Proceed one block past Walter Hays Elementary School. The Community Center is to your right.
From 280: Take the Page Mill Road exit East. After crossing El Camino Real (about 2 miles from the freeway), follow Oregon Expressway as it veers to the left into the underpass. Continue about one mile to Middlefield Road, the third traffic signal after the underpass. Turn left on Middlefield. Proceed one block past Walter Hays Elementary School. The Community Center is to your right.

Lambert Avenue runs from El Camino Real to Park Blvd., 5 blocks south of Page Mill Road.From 101: Take the Embarcadero/Oregon Expressway exit. Follow signs to Oregon Expressway. After about 1.5 miles on Oregon, immediately after the underpass, take the exit to the right marked “Business District.” Turn right at the first intersection onto Sheridan. Go one block and turn right again on Park Boulevard. Turn right on Lambert Avenue, the third intersection. West Bay Opera is the second building on your left.
From 280: Take the Page Mill Road exit East. After about two miles, cross El Camino Real, staying in the right lane. Go straight, following the sign to Park Boulevard. (Do not follow Oregon Expressway as it veers to the left into an underpass.) Turn right on Park Boulevard. Turn right on Lambert Avenue, the third intersection. West Bay Opera is the second building on your left.
From Caltrain: Take the California Avenue stop. Park Boulevard is the first street running parallel to the tracks. Walk south along Park Boulevard to Lambert Avenue, which is 10 short blocks south of the depot at California Avenue. Turn right on Lambert Avenue. West Bay Opera is the second building on your left.
