Michelle Allie Drever, soprano, returns to West Bay Opera to sing Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail. She made her company debut as Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) in February 2023, and sang Amina in WBO's first production of La sonnambula in February 2025. Ms. Drever’s major operatic roles include Nedda (Pagliacci), Magda (La rondine), Violetta (La traviata), Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor), Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte), Madre Maria (Las tres mujeres de Jerusalén), Le Feu/Le Rossignol (L'enfant et les sortilèges), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Anne Sullivan (touch), and Tosca, with companies including Opera Mississippi, Opera Birmingham, LA Opera, Pacific Opera Project, Pocket Opera, and Miami Lyric Opera. Earlier this year, Ms. Drever made her debut at the historic Pasadena Playhouse in their smash hit revival of Amadeus. Directed by Tony Award-winner Darko Tresnjak (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder), the play included Mozart opera excerpts sung live — a rarity in nearly all Amadeus stage productions. She portrayed Katherina Cavalieri, a stage version of the real-life soprano who created the role of Konstanze in Abduction when it premiered in Vienna in 1782. An alumna of the Renata Scotto Opera Academy under the direction of the late Renata Scotto, Ms. Drever recently made her debut as a solo recording artist on the album Tapestry of Voices, distributed by Navona Records and available on streaming platforms everywhere. Ms. Drever holds a master’s degree in vocal performance from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. A native of Northern California, she currently resides in Los Angeles. 

Hak Soo Kim, tenor, makes his West Bay Opera debut singing the role of Belmonte in Die Entführung aus dem Serail. After an impressive career as a head sommelier of two three-Michelin-star restaurants in New York City, Per Se of Chef Thomas Keller as well as Jung Sik, he returned to the stage last year to reprise the role of Count Almaviva at Sarasota Opera, which he sang at the company in 2014 as well as at Los Angeles Opera, Opera Southwest, Opera New Jersey. In October of 2024, he made his role debut, singing Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly) at Opera Southwest.  

Mr. Kim made his European debut as Conte Libenskof (Il Viaggio a Reims) at the Festival Giovane of Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, where he collaborated with late Maestro Alberto Zedda. Between 2016 and 2017 season, Mr. Kim performed three more Bel Canto roles, Lindoro (L’italiana in Algeri) and Ernesto (Don Pasquale) at Sarasota Opera as well as Narciso (Il turco in Italia) at Opera Southwest. Since 2012, he began expanding his repertoire to the lyric genre with notable debuts in Verdi roles, singing the role of Duca di Mantova (Rigoletto) and Edoardo di Sanval (Un giorno di regno), of which he world-premiered the critical edition score, in collaboration with Dr. Francesco Izzo at American Institute for Verdi Studies. As a concert artist, he appeared in numerous concert venues such as Hollywood Bowl and Ravinia Festival under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel, James Conlon and Plácido Domingo.
Mr. Kim is a graduate of the Domingo-Thornton Young Artist Program at Los Angeles Opera and graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in German and wrote his thesis on German post-unification literature at Eberhard Karls Universität in Tübingen, Germany.  

Casey Germain,  bass-baritone,  returns to West Bay Opera to sing Osmin in Die Entführung aus dem Serail.. Mr. Germain was previously seen at WBO in the roles of Second Soldier and First Nazarene (Salome) Abimelech and the Old Hebrew (Samson et Dalila), Count Rodolfo (La sonnambula), and Juan Perón (Franzetti's Corpus Evita). With Opera Theatre of St. Louis, he sang the Jailer (Tosca) and Elder Ott (Susannah). With Finger Lakes Opera, he performed the King of Egypt (Aida). With Opera North, his roles included the King (Rachel Portman's The Little Prince), Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro), and the Innkeeper (Man of La Mancha). He also appeared as Capellio (I Capuleti e i Montecchi) with Bel Cantanti Opera. Mr. Germain holds a Bachelor of Music from the New England Conservatory and a Master of Music from the University of Maryland.

Caleb Alexander, tenor, returns to West Bay Opera to sing Pedrillo in Die Entführung aus dem Serail..  He made his WBO debut last season singing the 3rd Jew and 2nd Nazarene in Salome and most recently appeared as Spoletta in Tosca.  A native of Los Angeles, Caleb most recently premiered the role of Paul Schrade in Benavides’ Dolores with the 2025 West Edge Opera Festival. Other recent appearances include Tamino (Die Zauberflöte) with the Handel Opera Project, Tebaldo (I Capuleti e i Montecchi) and Alfredo (La traviata) with Verismo Opera, First Soldier understudy (Zorro, Armienta) with Opera San Jose, Eisenstein understudy (Die Fledermaus) with Santa Cruz Opera Project, Ramiro understudy (La cenerentola) and Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore) with San Francisco Opera Guild, Monostatos (Die Zauberflöte) and the Ballad Singer (Of Mice And Men, Floyd) with Livermore Valley Opera, Baron Beaucoup (The Three Feathers, Laitman) with Solo Opera, Mafia Guy and Grady understudy (The Shining, Moravec) with Opera Parallele, and Parpignol (La boheme) and Mercury (Orphée aux Enfers) with Pocket Opera. He was also a 2025 Emerging Artist with Arcady International.

Lora Bashmakian, soprano, makes her WBO debut singing Blonde in Die Entführung aus dem Serail.. Ms. Bashmakian has performed with Finger Lakes Opera as Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro), and will be covering Opera Santa Barbara’s Gilda (Rigoletto). She is a two-time Encouragement Award Winner from The Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition and is an Encouragement Award recipient from the Camille Coloratura Awards. She received her Master of Music from the Eastman School of Music, and her Bachelor of Music from California State University, Long Beach. At Eastman, Ms. Bashmakian performed Adele (Die Fledermaus) and also Nanetta (Falstaff) in Eastman Opera Theater’s scenes. On the concert stage, she appeared in Bach's Cantata's BWV 82 and BWV 89 , Bruckner's Mass in F minor , Mendelssohn’s Lobgesang , and covered Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis . At California State University, Long Beach she was named the Concerto Competition winner, and performed Gliere's Concerto for Coloratura Soprano. 

Kirk Eichelberger,  bass, returns to West Bay Opera to perform the role of Bassa Selim in Die Entführung aus dem Serail. Previous roles with West Bay Opera include the 5th Jew and the Cappadocian in Salome, Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte), Don Giovanni, Nick Shadow (The Rake’s Progress), The Four Villains (Les contes D’Hoffmann) and Colline (La boheme). A resident of San Jose, Mr. Eichelberger recently sang the role of Hagen (Götterdämmerung) and Hunding (Die Walküre) with the Wagner in Vermont Festival. With Manitoba Opera, he sang the roles of Alidoro (La cenerentola) and Il Commendatore (Don Giovanni). With Livermore Valley Opera, he sang the roles of Candy (Of Mice and Men, Floyd), Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte), Don Basilio (Il barbiere di Siviglia) and Raimondo (Lucia di Lammermoor). Mr. Eichelberger was a resident artist at Opera San Jose, where he has sung more than twenty roles. He has also sung with The Metropolitan Opera, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Kansas City Lyric Opera, Vancouver Opera, Opéra de Montréal, Edmonton Opera, Washington Opera, Spoleto Festival USA, Opera Memphis and Virginia Opera.
