West Bay Opera has a tenured orchestra

There are 25 tenurable positions, as follows:

33221 (strings) and 

2121 2210 (winds)

timpani, percussion and harp.

Currently vacant positions are:

Principal Flute

Section Clarinet

Principal Bassoon

Section Trumpet

Principal Harp

Principal and Section Viola

Principal and Section 2nd Violin

Section Cello

Auditions for vacant string and wind chairs will be held in Winter 2025.

We anticipate announcing audition dates and details in mid-October.
