Madama Butterfly
by Giacomo Puccini
Oct 13, 15, 21 & 22, 2023
In the early 1900s, the USS Abraham Lincoln sails into Nagasaki. A young naval officer marries a Japanese girl, then leaves her, pregnant with his son, and returns years later with a "real" American wife, to take away the child. Puccini's most moving and beautiful score.

Corpus Evita
by Carlos Franzetti
Feb 16, 18, 24 & 25, 2024
Already a cult figure during her brief life, when Eva Perón died in 1952, she became something akin to a goddess. Evita's myth still fuels devotion and division. In the 1970's, Perón's thrid wife, Isabel, tried to embody the myth, with terrible consequences.
